I Love My Boys

We just took this picture yesterday while playing at the park. I love it because it so reminds me of how much I love them. Thank you God for such sweet boys and that they sat still long enough to get this picture!

Moondipper plus Mr. Tumnus equals Narnia magic!

Lisa and I escaped for a day to make the trek up to moondipper hotsprings. I had been hearing about how amazing they were and we were certainly not disappointed. The hike was beautiful and the conditions absolutely epic. It snowed 2-3 inches while we were there! Forgot to grab a photo of the springs but I’m quite certain there will be a next time! Lisa and I were awestruck by the silence of the snow and the striking similarity to the scene in Narnia when Lucy first enters through the wardrobe!

Reformation Day

In Celebration of Martin Luther’s nailing of the 95 thesis onto the door at Whitenburg, we decided to dress up like lions and Narnians and Telemarians. Actually, we mostly just sugared up the kids with pillowcases full of candy…

Birthday Party on the Last Warm Day

Celebrated Caleb’s birthday with a final trip to our favorite sandbar. Indeed, it was the final warm day of summer! So much fun diving in the water and building sand castles.
