Perfect Fall Weather

We had such a great time at the cabin this weekend. We were all sick but we decided our choices were lay around the house or go up and enjoy the mountain air. We were really glad we decided to make the trip.

A Party for Royalty

Caleb, Marc, Megan, Katie and Darren all have their birthdays within a month of each other. So this year we decided to throw a mega party and make them all kings and queens for a day. The day began with a knighting ceremony and included slaying the enemy pinata, treasure hunt for the presents, story telling, a great feast and of coarse cake.

Summer Fun!

We love the backyard during the summer! I challenged Lisa to a round of miniature golf with our homemade wooden clubs (they ended up breaking). Caleb got way into it. Brock and Marc chilled in the “boat.” Gotta love life.

He is now an IRONMAN!

Jason did it! He made it through the entire course, injured and all!

Looking good on the bike. We were so happy he saw us and we saw him in the mass of people!

His most loyal fans. The signs went everywhere and they held them with pride. They looked like a mini parade and all for their daddy! Here are a couple of comments from them during the day:
BROCK- “I will just have to be an ironman. But it will have to wait until I get big.” – while swimming in the pool and practicing his crawl stroke, “I’m doing the ironswim” – when dad stopped to say hi, “Dad you better keep going, you can do it!”
CALEB- when we see dad on the run, “Dad do you want to come take a break?”
MARC- “He’s a winner”
DAWSON- clapping and cheering while everyone goes past “Did it, Dada, Did it”
