Our Funny Family Outtake For the Year
This picture was taken in the summer that I found while looking for a photo for our Christmas Card. Don’t ask me what was going on here, because I honestly don’t remember! It has to look worse than it was! Normally we don’t have so many “biting” issues. Once again you may want to click on it to blow it up and get the full effect!

Some Random Pictures
I haven’t been good at taking time to organize my photos, but here are a few pictures from the last few months.

Playing out in the first snowfall without snow clothes. Kind of took us by surprise! In my mind it is still summer.

Our sweet girl who is trying to walk and starting to talk.

Last camping trip of the year with our good friends the Foremans. Great place to go in October!

Being a Mom
Being a mother is the craziest job around. It can be both miserable and wonderful in the same moment. These were two of the “thank you Lord” moments I had this week.
Seeing Marc sitting in the sunshine, anticipating playing outside and determined to tackle this cumbersome obstacle of tying his shoes.
Seeing my determined oldest son, finish a fortress amongst chaos and frustrations. Ending with a truly beautiful creation.

Air Show in Mountain Home
The boys loved watching the planes do their tricks. The VIP section was pretty sweet too (thanks mom!). The kids loved eating to their hearts content from all of the goodies they had set out while watching the heart rumbling aircraft fly by. Kaylia was a great sport. She was content spending 5 hours snacking on crackers, feeling the roar of the airplanes, ear’s covered with earplugs and not getting a nap. What a perfect little sister for four older brothers!

It's a Cold Day in July
Went to the parade in Cascade and met up with some families from church. After the parade we all went up the mountain to go on the Blue Lake hike. This is the site that greeted us at the top! Since it had been such a cold year we expected some snow, but not several feet deep everywhere you looked! There were even people snowmobiling!! And yes, that was the sign for the parking lot.

Adoption Complete!
This has been a long journey with lots of lessons, trials and joys along the way. I am so grateful to the Lord that He let us experience them all. This is just one more landmark in the path of life. May God be glorified in everything!
